Assistant Account Executive

Wren Interactive is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Assistant Account Executive with meticulous attention-to-detail. In this role, you will support the Advertising Account Executives and have ownership of project tracking, scheduling, estimating and reporting. In this role, you are a master at multi-tasking, and have superior communication skills. You are willing and able to “hit the ground running”, maintain a fast-paced and nimble work mode, and are someone who thrives in an agency environment where there is no typical day.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling and coordination of work flow between office staff, vendors, and clients
  • Project tracking from initial kick-off and creative trafficking, to final deliverable and close-out – all done with thoroughness, accuracy and efficiency
  • Owning account service-related documents such as: meeting agendas, reports, timelines, proof of performance, and other client communications and correspondence
  • Executing projects and plans – with the oversight of the CEO, you will facilitate creative input briefs, guide external vendors and set expectations with the client to ensure timeliness and overall satisfaction
  • Serving as the point person to traffic creative development – you know where everything is at all times, when it’s due and when it will be delivered
  • Collaborating with account teams and other departments to facilitate and maintain seamless communication
  • Assisting in ideation and brainstorming sessions, proactively improving process and always continuing to improve the value we deliver to our clients
  • Fostering a good working relationship with clients and internal associates, either through direct contact or in support of client needs

Required competencies:

  • Strong written, communication and presentation skills. Your email skills should be on point, but you are not afraid to pick up the phone to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Personable, team player with a strong commitment to supporting the agency’s vision
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to organize and juggle multiple projects
  • Must be flexible, dedicated, hardworking, diplomatic and highly organized
  • The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality


  • Familiarly with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Project Management tools (SharePoint, Workamajig, Basecamp) a plus
  • Experience working with Apple products a plus
